Requesting an Appointment
Whenever possible, donors should be encouraged and supported in scheduling appointments on their own through the app. Requests for center-scheduled appointments should be submitted only after the donor has been educated on the process, and we've confirmed they are unable to complete it independently.
Note: If a donor says they are unable to book an appointment for a particular day, double-check that the donor has not previously donated twice within the last 7 days. If they have, they would not be able to schedule a donation.
Please keep in mind that if you are requesting a booking exception, you'll need to verify with your CLT that there is no issue adding the donor to the schedule, and that your center can handle the additional capacity.
Example format:
Donor 12345 lost phone/broke phone, please schedule an appointment for now & Wednesday at 1:00pm
IMPORTANT: Always tag Member Experience in your Teams request.
